The Code Stroke Course Update
The Code Stroke Course Update is a half day course, offered in a brand-new edition every year, providing an annual update and deeper insight into acute stroke management for those who have completed the Code Stroke Course. After a short lecture and update on the latest studies, the rest of the half day will be dedicated to case discussions. The 2026 Code Stroke Course Update will take place the 29th of May, and the theme of the lecture is: “Late window thrombolysis – where do we stand?”

Terms and conditions
The Code Stroke Course is intended for medical education. It is the responsibility of the practicing physician to ensure, in each individual patient case, that they act in accordance with evidence and proven experience. Neither the lecturers nor Strom Neurology AB can be held responsible for participants’ actions in any specific patient case.
Participants are not necessarily prepared to make independent treatment decisions (e.g., thrombolysis) in cases of acute stroke after completing the course. As with a standard driver’s license, both theoretical knowledge (corresponding to this course) and practical experience are needed to manage code strokes effectively.
Cancellation Policy
The course fee will be refunded if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the course start date.
Certificate Requirements
To receive a course certificate, participants must attend the course and pass the final test. If a participant fails the test, they will be given a supplementary assignment. Upon successful completion of the assignment, they can receive their certificate.
Course Rescheduling
Strom Neurology AB reserves the right to change the date of a course session. Such changes will only be made for compelling reasons.
Data Protection and Privacy
By registering for the course, participants accept that Strom Neurology AB will store their personal data. This data will only be used for communication related to the course. Strom Neurology AB is committed to never sharing this data with third parties. Personal data will also be stored in a registry to verify course completion.
